Pineville Via -Rt.13 and 48 -Parking The Pineville Pool is the perfect spot for Spey Fishing and Spin Fishing. During the winter time or when there is a high water condition, the fish will often hold on south side of the bank. Because of a tall tree on south side of the bank, if you are wading, you almost have to wade to the middle of the river. To cover this stretch of water effectively, a drift boat would be the best choice. Upstream to the Pineville Bridge ,where there is a small Island, is a good bet for catching fish. The best approach would be from the south side of bank. Because Pineville is a popular launching site for drift boats, the best time to fish this pool is before the morningdrift boat launch or in the early afternoon when it's quiet.
