As stated before the Papermill Pool is the upper pool of this particular area and is above the bridge. This area gets light fishing pressure year round. Contrary to the Railroad Pool, the Papermill Pool is best approached from the North side. While the Salmon River is not known as a Brown river, this area does produe some small schools of Browns for about one week each late Spring. Unfortunately, it has always been sporatic and impossible to predict.
