Black Hole-Via No.Jefferson and Bridge St.-Parking The Black Hole is best during high water as fish tend to move right through it in low water. It is at its best in one to two gates of water. It is slow moving water and rather flat with a rocky bottom. The Little Back Hole is one of the better pools in the Douglaston Salmon Run. It is excellent in one to one and a half gates of water. The best approach here is from the South side.
