His techniques include: back trolling plugs from a drift boat, drift fishing, and center pin float rod fishing with all tackle and equipment provided. In May, Captain John takes his clients on Lake Ontario for daytime angling for trophy walleye and northern pike in his 17' Lund. Then, after nine months of fishing in New York, Captain John retreats to his Alaskan Lodge for June, July, and August to allow his clients to catch a 50 pound plus King Salmon.
